The project includes a custom-built pergola with integrated privacy screens and architectural LED lighting, creating both structure and ambiance for day-to-night enjoyment. A fully integrated outdoor kitchen with a built-in grill anchors the entertainment zone, while a custom fire table provides warmth and a focal point for gathering during Chicago’s cooler evenings.

To soften the architectural elements and support sustainable landscape design, Rooftopia installed custom planters featuring native Little Bluestem grasses, adding seasonal texture, movement, and ecological value to the rooftop environment. The planting design enhances privacy while reinforcing our commitment to incorporating native plants into urban outdoor spaces.

The clients selected high-end outdoor furniture from Brown Jordan and Mamma Green, creating comfortable lounge and dining areas that support relaxing, hosting small gatherings, and seamless indoor-to-outdoor entertaining.
